 WET SANDBLASTING 

The wet blasting cabinet or high-pressure water blast cabinet is typically used for surface improvement, cleaning, preparation of coatings, deburring and shot peening. Wet sandblasting equipment is especially done for finishing delicate, precision produced parts.

The recirculation of the water and the abrasive mixture is achieved by high durability sludge pumps, which provide excellent technical and environmental benefits. The water blasting machine works on the reusable abrasive media process, which reduces the cost and time.

The wet blasting cabinet (Wet blasting equipment) uses a seal-less slurry pump to convert the abrasive media and water into a slurry mixture. This slurry mixture is pumped directly to the abrasive blast gun where compressed air pressure moves the mixture with the desired pressure rating.

The Exhaust Blower filter maintains a negative cabinet pressure that prevents the cabinet mist from escaping during the blasting process. During the process, freshwater is rinsed out on the window after a fixed interval of time which provides continuous operator visibility through the operator view window. Light enters the wet sandblasting equipment through a sight window located on top of the machine or cabinet.

No pre-cleaning, a dust-free finish and reduces ‘abrasive impregnation risk’ because detergents are simply added to the wet-blasting slurry.

Wet Blasting Cabinet (SWB6060)

Wet blasting cabinet is used various different surface treatments in different industries. In this cabinet’s slurry formed of abrasive material and water which is carried out with the help of pump to the gun and then this gun with the help of air creates pressure; and with this high pressure, the slurry is being injected on the blasting surfaces. Wet Blasting Cabinet (SWB9182):-

Wet blasting cabinets or water blaster have the same process that of sandblasting machine, only the difference is that wet media blasting mixes the cleaning media with water instead of air. The abrasive media and water slurry is sprayed at part needing smoothening and has the same effect as sandblasting. SWB9182 has a huge size and fast speed of cleaning, etching, smoothening or deburring any surface. This process cleans by flow and not impact, producing a ‘soft or smooth’ finish. Here the water acts as a lubricant, avoiding media impregnation (wastage) and extending the life of the blast media.

Wet blasting cabinet or wet abrasive blasting cabinet is relatively the same as the dry blasting machine, the biggest feature of wet blasting cabinet is to control dust pollution involved in the sandblasting machines working environment. The principle of the wet abrasive blasting cabinet is that the slurry pump picks up the abrasive media and mixes them with water to produce a pleasingly smooth and clean surface finish. Wet Blasting Cabinet (SWB12090) is of medium size.
